I’m quite opinionated. I know opinions are like assholes, but if you really want to hear mine I will do my best to sound off (the opinion; not the asshole).
So if you’ve got a question, shoot it over. Email me through here and know that emailing me any questions gives me the right to post your email here (excerpts or in its entirety, as I see fit). You will not be identified unless you specifically request I add your name.
Sorry, but I’m not in the spellcasting business. Casting a spell is a big undertaking and results can vary. I know a lot of so-called spellcasters promise ‘guaranteed results,’ but honestly that’s the first red flag that the person is a scam. Magic doesn’t work like that– that would be as irresponsible as a doctor swearing results are guaranteed. There are different people and circumstances involved, even people who want something desperately can have blocks preventing them from achieving those goals. Results can’t ever be guaranteed.
I feel like performing these services over the internet for strangers for the asking is too impersonal and too impractical. I am a writer and a teacher, and so I try to teach about Witchcraft (among other things) online. Give a man a fish vs. teach a man to fish, and all that. I’d rather encourage people interested in Witchcraft to learn it, because when it comes down to it, the most effective spell results you’ll ever get will be from spells you cast yourself.
Also, since I cast spells for myself and my loved ones, I don’t employ spellcasters, so I can’t recommend any since I’ve never used their services.
Sure. That’s what I’m doing here… offering articles, blogs, book recommendations, classes, answering questions, etc.
Not to be rude, but I kind of thought that was obvious. The ball is in your court now… you have to start reading, start taking the suggestions for things to do. They’re all there. If you get stumped, I’m just an email away. But if you’re not interested in reading the literature I supply or recommend, I’m not really sure how you think I can help you.
That’s easy– do you study and practice Witchcraft? If so– congrats, you are a Witch.
Please keep in mind: having psychic abilities, loving nature, loving the moon, having an affinity for a certain element, having an affinity for Goddesses, believing in fairies/unicorns/vampires/werewolves/gnomes/elves/bigfoot, unexplained experiences and phenomena, using Tarot cards or ouija boards, having prophetic dreams, having Witches in your family line or history, thinking you may have been a Witch in a past life, having experiences with spirits, being an herbal healer, etc… they do not automatically make you a Witch.
Witchcraft is a craft. That’s why the call it ‘the Craft.’ It’s a learned skill. It requires study and practice. If you are not studying and practicing the Craft, you are not a Witch. If you do study and practice The Craft, you are a Witch.
And if you want to be a Witch, you do not need to look any further than the fact that it’s something you want to do– you don’t need any abilities or connections beyond that. You can just choose it.
Pretty simple, huh?
So that’s a wrap for this mailbag… hopefully it’ll have answered some of your preliminary questions. Any further questions, send them over for next month!.
